End of the week end of the week end of the weeeekkkkk YAY

So finally ohhhhh soooo finalllllllllly I can put the pictures up of last weekend, frankly I've already forgotten half of it and the excitement at school today, song contest, massive massive insect in the teachers room oh and the flask of tea on my desk, ( yes we know how to have fun in Kawai Cho), means I'm distracted from writing anything else (although to be fair it does only take a shiny object to distract me usually). Oh and yes I am at school on Saturday for the students song contest, although it means I have Monday off to potter (my other main hobby aside from dilly dallying) Tomorrow the poor school kids have to go to one of the local train stations and do weeding all day while I get to sleep in. I'm thinking of heading on down in my big aviator shades and loitering around shouting instructions but then realise I'm not in Cool hand luke and they can't understand English (but can still somehow say "BIG PENNNIS MAN!") .
SO I should mention the photos, first of all if your ever in Osaka (You know, just hanging around in a japan) then head to Shinsibashi (see picture on the right) and to the OPA building for one of the best clothes shops in the kansai area Hanjiro, where you can buy a great range of decent priced clothes second hand and new all whilst seeing clowns, egg men, older brothers they may sound like Super mario enemies but are in fact some of the many tribes in Japan. Anyway the only draw back to shopping in Hanjiro is this rather scary picture (on left) in the changing rooms, imagine this image staring down at you as you struggle into trousers that make you look like a mime artist (well that my experience anyway)

The next day it was off to Tachibana street which is a decent ara for clothes, food, and a drink by the river near The Namba hatch, which according to the statues inside appears to be dedicated to those brave dolphin pilots flying in the sky, well that's what I can gather from the statue anyway.

A drowsy wave of tiredness has just crashed on the shores of my brain so thats enough rambling for now, I'm off to put on my shades and practice my mean sneer for tomorrow. Oh and I've added two new blogs to the listings on the right, the great intelectual movie site Like Anna Karina's sweater and the cooking blog baking sheet both worth a few minutes of your time.

School headmaster clothes; navy suit, light yellow tie and twinkle in his eye.
School headmaster style; Like hes about to break into a small tap dance anyminute.
