Thanks to TV in Japan (see blog bits on right for details) one of my favourite hosts is small, hairy, takes lots of pictures and has a small dog for company, no russell brand jokes here I promise you, but I'm actually talking about Panko the very friendly chimp and his friend James the (ugly) dog.yeah let that blow your mind for a while.... a chimp who has his own tv programme.
Its even better than the beetles who lay on their back on comand and nowhere near as strange as the breast feeding cat (see TV in Japan site for those, or the internet if your brave)
If he's not sowing the fields, visiting the onsen (complete with robe) to be buried in sand, he's using his umbrella to save his precious digital camera (which he earlier took a self portraight with) always with James by his side (well I suppose the leash helps with that)
yeah of course its editing, training and the occasional word bubble but come on ITS A MONKEY WEARING GOING TO THE GYM!!!!
heres one of my favourites where he joins elementary school, amazing not just for Panko doing all the activities, James doing sit ups, or his costume, but the fact that the kids don't seem fazed by him at all. I suspect they've simply told them he's a very, very, very hairy newkid
