So long from me, and so long from them

So this is my last post in Japan, no more bike riding through the rice fields, no more singing hello to the people I pass on the way, no more clouds over the mountains and instead its hello the Trans siberian express, hello Europe and hello England. I'm not sure how I should really feel but I know that I will never have this opportunity again there's always things I should have done, things I wish I had done and things I'm glad I have done, this blog will continue probably not for a while at least as I am now embarking on stage 2 of my grand master plan (number 12 is world ruling, so you know its going to take a while for that) on the dawning of the eighth month I'll be heading through on a slow boat to China, of course hating crowds and being ripped off oh and of course my timing is perfect with the Olympics taking place will go to making that quite interesting to say the least. Anyway its going to be six days sightseeing, then onto the wilderness of Mongolia staying with the herders out in the desert. Then a train journey through the Russian landscape, and onto Moscow before its back onto the train and off to the home of Doctor Zhivago and a gulag so that should be fun filled. Before heading back to Moscow and a homestay and then then its onto Europe with stops in Berlin, Switzerland and France .... which is nice..

Anyway this being my last post its only fitting that I should celebrate possibly the greatest Japanese program...EVER!

PANKUN AND JAMES
Seriously the Japanese executive who thought of a program where a genius monkey travels around with a pet dog, performing tasks, going to school, making ramen, really really deserves a raise or at least being allowed to leave at 9:30 rather than 10. I would really recommend watching the episodes on the thing known as the Internet first or at least heading to TV in Japan and finding them there (see right) .
Done that? good
This is the final episode of the series as Pankun was all set to move to a local zoo (where he still happily lives by the way just in case you were thinking the worst)

If your not a little choked up at this second episode then...well I don't know what but still who would have thought a man and a monkey would be so sad.

So its goodbye from Japan, hello from England and thanks for all the fish.
