blurrgher

the title is currently the sound my chest is making when I attempt to do anything more strenuoious than sitting at my chair drinking tea (and also I'm sure its the sound of a mouse being over excitidly squeezed by a child (I'm guessing). Anyway enough about the sound of pet squezzing.
Somewhere along the line last week I've aquaired a rather nice chest infection from one or more of the students, a constant hazzard working at any school although I'm just thankful its not nits. It's probably not helped that this, and the previous, month has seen more snowfall than anyother time in my 2 1/2 years here, it does mean that Im getting the most out of my wellies and my friends are practicing their snowboarding (while I attempt to practice my sitting around in my house under the heated table) it also means many a morning spent waking up, wrapping a sleeping bag around my shivering form treading around in T.O.H huge bear slippers sitting around drinking tea while I attempt to watch CNN, then throwing open the front door of my apartment (as yes I do anything in the style of a 1950's musical) to a white blanket covering the world and a school journey spent trudging through fresh snow which by the afternoon has sloshed its way into water.

Oh and I've just finished reading "Tuesdays with Morrie" which while an excillent mediation on life and death does make you ponder illness more than you would usuaully. Thankfully I'm reading Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows so I'm sure by next week I'll be wearing a cape (nothing to do with the book, I just think I look good with something thrown over my shoulders) and attempting to once again prove that YOU KNOW WHO is back (actually I'm currently enjoying this book faaar more than the others if not for the actual sense of dread and pressure that is constantly overhanging their wizardy heads then for way she has twisted the usual events of a harry potter book,( scene with his nasty relatives, school journey, danger, lessons, danger, reveal of the bad guy the end) into darker versions of themselves (oh and the fact that no seems safe!))

As T.O.H updated their blog yesterday I've felt that I should write something or other even if its to comment on the state of my lungs and the fact that I've become intweind with the life of a fictonal wizard, the adventures the Linx on my DS not to mention Lost in blue with is proving soooo increadibly annoying its sooo increadibly addictive. In the meantime its off for lunch and a trip back to the deathly hallows ohhhhhhhh

Everone in my village is holding up safe and warm in their own apartments, which is obvious really considering the average age of my viallagers,
