Hop to it - Movie night in Kyoto

If your actually in Japan and read this blog....no wait read this blog?? hmm that would be unusual, anyway if your anywhere near Kyoto or don't mind a long train ride and fancy a movie then head over to the great Irish bar, The GAEL gion which each month hosts a free movie from the Democrats Abroad Japan group; well it's free for non Americans, a 500 yen donation is asked from Americans (you try out an accent and see if that works.) Anyway the pubs nice, the food is good and you get a free movie to watch, its possibly not one for republicans or people who owned Enron but hey try it, you might like it.
I've just copied and pasted the entire email below so if it reads a little more elegant than my usual monkey at a type writer approach that's the reason.

Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Fortune reporters Bethany McLean and Peter Elkind, a multidimensional study of one of the biggest business scandals in American history. The chronicle takes a look at one of the greatest corporate disasters in history, in which top executives from the 7th largest company in this country walked away with over one billion dollars, leaving investors and employees with nothing. The film features insider accounts and rare corporate audio and video tapes that reveal colossal personal excesses of the Enron hierarchy and the utter moral vacuum that posed as corporate philosophy. The human drama that unfolds within Enron's walls resembles a Greek tragedy and produces a domino effect that could shape the face of our economy and ethical code for years to come.More info at the film's official website http://www.enronmovie.com
