Oh and almost forgot this week sees the release of both The Nationals new long player "Boxer"
and LCD soundsystems new single All my Friends.
I know for sure All my friends is fantastic... with very good (and very different) cover versions of the single by Franz Ferdinand and John Cale. The great Culture bully blog has LCD soundsystems recent Coachella gig in their arcives Here for you to listen to (but obviously not copy or download as that is wrong people!) but make sure to read the rest of the blog as its one of my favourites.
As for The National, weellllll the first song I heard from the album was "Fake empire" which is fantastic, poignent and bitter sweet; The second song was Mistaken for strangers which is good but not great, still I'm hoping that they are going to pull something special out the bag with Boxer.. see here for details and what not.
