errr yeaaaahhhh how should I do that? Explosions? Dangerous stunts? fluffies?
Err no
How about a nice picture of some Japanese sky instead.

For the last 2 days we've had what some people would call a cold snap, me I call it bloody freezing. I'm informed by my teachers that if there's snow on the nearby mountain tops for three days we will have snow here, although I'm not sure how much trust to put into this considering they also tell me Japanese people have different length intestines, but it has been freezing not helped by the fact that Japanese apartments (and in particular our old apartment) doesn't have any central heating or major insulation so its on with the kerosene heater, plug in the heated table and slip into my thermals, and no I don't have any shame in wearing thermals because while you snicker all cold and moany I'm laying around snug, well my legs anyway.
Anyway the other reason I'm wearing thermals is because I'm in the middle of the third years listening and speaking test, in which I ask the students four questions (from a list) and they can ask me one question in return. This year I've tried to stress that they can ask ANY question (within reason) still this hasn't stopped most from asking me things like "What sport you like?" and "What is your favourite sushi?"
Here are some of the highlights from today's questioning....
"Do you like Back to the future?" Not that weird but hey its the first time someone has asked me that.
"Do you like wind?" Hmm possibly an Innocent question although considering the boy found it SO funny when I said no probably not.
"Are you Bio?" I actually still don't know what this means, I think he's was either asking me if I was part machine ooorrr if I was a safe washing powder.
"What do you think of Otaku culture?" When I told the student I thought Otaku are a little strange and funny, she replied that she was Otaku for Final Fantasy thankfully she found it funny and we even managed to share a joke about the final fantasy drink ohhh cross culture communication indeed!
Last night I had a mammoth cooking session producing a large fish lasagna and a tube full of River cafe recipe dark chocolate moose so off to watch Inspector Morse while sporting a fine chocolate mustachio.
