shiny shiny shiny shhiny ohhh all hail...THE MASTER

While I'm attempting to write a post about the beer train (how do you describe a train which is all you can drink for almost 2 hours...oh wait like that) this week we've had a small visitor to the house, a small house gecko in our toilet (bathroom for you Americans). It took a while to get used to having something scampering around the ceiling and dropping from the ceiling next to you when ...well shall we say, your "busy" But by the middle of the week I've come home and found T.O.H attempting to feed it flies and ants they had caught, while my bowl of honey, sugar and water seems to have been shunned (obviously a fancy pants gecko). We've decided to call it THE MASTER (capitals essential) so we can now exclaim "THE MASTER is back in the toilet."
Hey when you live in the country these things are essential to keep your sanity, although how much calling a gecko THE MASTER is sanity I don't know.
Anyway here's a few pictures I took on my last trip to Osaka to see knickers before he left for blighty. During this week I broke the news that Knickers had gone home to my local English speaking village person (and sadly not a village people person, if you see what I mean) and I don't think I've ever seen a persons face fall so quickly, at one point I think I saw real tears form . Although I have been invited to the local sento (hot springs) with him, I know in my heart I'm his second favourite non Japanese person.
Oh and if you go to Osaka it is apparently law that you take a picture of the running man, it is, honest, Mr. Abe told me
