Well after 16 hours of travel, so many time changes that I think I've possibly traveled into the future and an extremely strict security checks I'm back in England, back at home and oh yes.. back at the computer, nice to see some things never change.
Anyway the flight itself (both of them) was fine although I could probably have done without having to sit on the plane before take off and have all the electricals fail. I'll probably write about the flight later as I've got a few pictures to help explain things. I was extrrreeeemly tired yesterday (was it only yesterday?) after helping clean knickers flat till late on Sunday evening and then being unable to sleep at night due to excitement (same thing happens to me at Christmas, just ask the weary T.O.H) oh and before I left our apartment I had to clean thoroughly, mearly confirming that yes, I HAVE turned into my mother.. oh how I remember our family holidays where we used to kid her that at least the house would be clean for the burglers, and now I appear to have taken up the habit.
Anyway yeah I was very tired when I stepped off the plane, but so far I've noticed that....
Everyone looks like someone I know, off the telly or in magazines. Weird unless they all came to the airport to see me arrive which is nice, thanks everyone!.
Everyone seems to use big hand gestures.
Radio one seems to have degenerated into playing music that sounds like reallly bad Lilly Allen "I can sing random lyrics in a cockney style" play list hosted by shouty DJ's who sound somewhat like my 2 year old niece but far less funny.
My 2 year old niece is possibly the most active genki child I have ever met, finishing last night refusing to go to sleep unless she could be cuddling the new wellies I bought her.
I appear to have collected a lot of band named T shirts when I was younger.
I am still tired.
So its off to sleep in my, now seemingly tiny, old bed surround by my old things stuffed full from my mums cooking.
home sweet home.
