and the rain is still coming down

So it made a nice change to have a Monday where the kids where in a good mood, I didn't have to use my evil gajin stare (effective up to 10 metres) and even the strange events that always seem to happen on a Monday was restricted to having a five minute conversation about arm hair shaving with some students (they shave their arms not me, by the way) during class, seeing a student girl having to be carried, firemans life style, to the medical room by one of her friends and having another girl burst into tears with no prompting; so you know the usual.

Unfortunatly Tuesday we've had rain, rain and more rain and insect bites insect bites insect bites! My arms are now nicely covered in so many bites so that they have begun to resemble the red landscape of Mars still the mosquito hunt last night resulted in 2 deaths (don't worry mosquitos no old people...yet) a spider removal from the house and several tiny things being sprayed. So,bitten, fingers crossed no more visits from those evil things in the night.

I see that there's a lot of fuss about the trailer running before Transformers (spoiler, things blow up...aparently) by Lost/Alias/that Tom Cruise film thats good until it ends of everyone clapping,cheering and whooping like a bad 80's TV movie, chap J.J Abrams see it here ...

Rumours have it that its either an adaptation of Voltron hmmm well as much as I'd be interested in J.J Abrams make a film about a giant robot with lion hands I just can't really see it translating very well to the big screen, Godzilla? hmmm maaaaayyybbee I'l like to see a decent live action Godzilla after the last disaster (in every sense of the word) flick, and Abrams has shown he can do MONSTER from Lost.
Also Aint it cool news (home of news, spoilers, oh and scary forums often seemingly written by angry 13 year olds) suggests it may be an adaptation or in this day and age a "reimagining" of a Lovecraft style story, now that would be interesting. With the dark forces ripping through from the other side rampaging along the streets, although with I'm wondering how the actual trailer might fit in, will the same characters be in the film, or (and I think this would be good) will we see the movie from another point of view (say bystanders) in the trailer and the actual film feature a whole different cast. Damn you Lost for making me speculate on TV shows andmovies so much...
