so last night proved why you should never consume copious amounts of food laced with garlic, pitchers of beer, run for multiple trains (followed by a herd of salary men) and then be allowed to turn the computer on. But after that tripsy down memory lane I've managed to download some odds and ends from my camera phone. Oh and tonight I'm off to a beer garden for my friends B day so hopefully pictures will follow (save your hurarrs for now)

Here are some scenes from our local lake that I'll add to my Picassa album.

I've been busy making large scale pictures and information for the students English room, things like food from around the world (many students are shocked to find that yes people from around the world CAN and do eat sushi). Information on astrology (Rather than star signs and what not, Japanese people use blood types to tell your personality and future, if you ever come to Japan be prepared to know your blood type as this was one of the most asked questions (along with can you eat Japanese food, can you use chopsticks and the inevitable HOW BIG, HOW BIG???)
Here I've attempted to show the parts of the body, strangely though I appear to have drawn Elija wood but with less hobbity feet.
Last year I drew a simple out line figure of a man, realising that he would soon have more "male parts" drawn on him I positioned a fig leaf over the sensitive areas which inadvertaintly worked the 3rd grade boys into a frenzy. Each week would come the battle where they would attempt to draw something underneath, which I would then remove, eventually when I tapped the leaf down they would gather around and attempt to claw the leaf off. This year I've learned my lesson although I'm still tempted to put a fig leaf somewhere on it just to see what might happen
