The marking has been piling up on my desk from the recent 3rd grade visit to Tokyo and the best sentence so far has been "I went to Akihabara because I wanted to see many real Otaku and real Meido" possibly only funny if you live in Japan and you see small herds of them on the trains furiously reading manga but I still like how they are referred to as almost an animal you go and watch in the zoo
Although it doesn't quite beat one of the first years yesterday who during lesson just randomly shouted "I am homeless!" nice pronunciation, shame we were learning numbers. Now Who teaches them these things I'll never know probably the same person responsible for them all shouting "SHUTUP!!!" like Brad Pitt in that bad Tibet film but I'll guess its probably this programme
Anyway I actually wanted to ask something, is it a recent thing that movie stars/directors introduce their own movies? Or is it only in Japan? It's just that there seems to have been an abundance of movie trailers over here that involve some random person like Michael "LOUD NOISES" Bay saying things like "Hi I'm.... this is my awesome new movie that will hopefully pay for another house for me and a stint in detox for my leading star. However this trailer for Die hard 4 sorry sorry 4.0 should be seen for Bruce Willis's (a man not unknown the Japanese advertisers) amazingly ability to look totally bored and half asleep at the same time, although it is rather nice to see him so pleased he nailed the Japanese language, well when I say nailed I mean almost, well I mean almost not at all but still gambari Bruce, gambari....
