Rather than write a huuuuuge log posting I'm going to post a few smaller ones ohhhhhhh.
First up whilst I was sauntering back from Osaka the other week admiring my fancy pants new hairdooo (which now means I can do that evil spider man 3 hair flick thing) I stopped off at Umeda station, which is so big they divide it into zones. (Sadly my crystal maze hopes have been dashed and there's no Aztec area.) I did however try some Osaka Modern okonomiyaki, which is like a pancake crossed with an omelet crossed with...errrr well something else. Despite making one of the servers laugh with my complete lack of serving tong/fish slice thing abilities the final result was the nicest one I think I've eaten in Japan.
On Saturday I did find this thing. It's about 4 foot high, it walks and shakes hands and the only way I can think how it works is through either a small robot or a small child (this is Japan so I'm not ruling that out.) anyway The photo's are kind of far away because frankly I didn't want to go to close to it.
