WOOOO WEEEKKKEEENND

This weekend saw a looooong trip over the west side (please see previous post for the correct hand gesture) for a B day bash and a hanamai party and whats that I hear you asking....
Well one of the big events of any Japanese year is the cherry blossom (Hanamai) viewing. In which virtually all of Japan decide to put on their sun hats, get onto the nearest train and head over to parks and sit under cherry trees whilst eating and drinking allllllllll day. I think the idea is that you sit and contemplate life as the cherry blossoms bloom and gradually fall around you like spring snow, and although I am obviously a cynical westerner but it is actually quite lovely seeing the blossom drift through the air. Oh and its nice to see Japanese people relax (although the six packs of beer they drink all day probably help.) Although the person who pinched my bum on the train was a little too relaxed for my tastes....

I think I've worked out how to post the link to the album but if theres any problems just let me know.
