Mushrooms mushrooms lovely lovely mushrooms

Go into most big cities in Osaka and you'll see signs for bars, lots and lots of bars, usually the same size as your living room. Whether they cater for the salary men who should be going home but instead just Fancy's one more bout of Karaoke, younger hipsters (and when I say hipsters I reveal I was in fact born in 1940's America) or tourists and in Kyoto you'll find lots and lots of tourists.
So to try to compete most bars have to come up with a gimmick and on Friday night we went to The mushroom bar.
Literally.
The same size as our living room, the bars theme is Mario style mushrooms so the walls are covered with yellow and red spots, the counter looks like it was made from Lego, toys litter the bar whilst the owner (I presume the owner as other wise the work requirements are really harsh) has a big bowl haircut...like a mushroom all the while cutsey music is pipped in do do do dododod dodo (that's the mario theme tune for those not sure)
So here's a few photo's hopefully I'll head back there with a proper camera and less drinks inside of me next time.

A Magician bar.....
Where people do tricks whilst you drink.
