Uniforms

The law in Japan dictates that all students, no matter what, have the right to attend school and graduate. This means basically that some kids don't turn up to school, and by that I mean EVER!
Which is something I'll want to talk about later but it means that I've gone almost two years without seeing some of the kids at school who, if they do turn up, spend most of the day in the nurses room.

So for graduation (lots of hugging, lots of crying etc etc) I had more than a few moments of "sorry who are you again" But impressively the six or seven "bad" kids arrived complete with bleached hair in bright, hand sown uniforms. I managed to sneak off one picture below

My friend recently told me that these might be motorbike gang uniforms, but of course any suggestion on what they are supposed to represent are welcome.
